There are many facets of financial aid administration that exist throughout an institution, including the Registrar’s Office. The goal of this course is to provide learners with an expanded understanding of the Financial Aid Office and how it relates specifically to the Registrar’s Office. This will be accomplished through a presentation of a brief history of financial aid, explaining the importance of the relationship between Financial Aid and the Registrar, and will include supplemental points such as best practices on how to approach policy development, reviewing the importance of Clearinghouse reporting, as well as the audit process to improve cross-departmental learning within your school.
